EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf had four student-athletes named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars list for their academic achievements in 2025-26.
The Screaming Eagles'
Fernanda Vera,
Brianna Kirsch,
Valeria Lopez de Haro Juste, and
McKenna Lowe completed the year with at least a 3.50 grade point average, while also participating in 50 percent of the team's rounds throughout the season.
Vera, a business administration major, competed in 25 rounds for the Eagles in 2025-26. She had her best finishes at the Windy City Invitational and the Charles Braun Intercollegiate, placing 17
th in both tournaments. During the Charles Braun Intercollegiate, Vera scored a season-low round of 74. Vera averaged 79.92 strokes per round in her sophomore campaign.
Kirsch, also a business administration major, tied for a team-best 28 rounds played as a sophomore. She had her best finish of the year, 14
th at the Windy City Invitational, following a two-round score of 162. Kirsch ended the year strong, placing 23
rd at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship and earning the team's lowest single-round score of the tournament with a six-under 66. Overall, Kirsch posted the team's lowest per-round average of the year at 79.86 strokes.
Lopez de Haro Juste, who graduated with a master's degree in business administration, had a solid graduate season in her lone year with the Screaming Eagles. She competed in 23 rounds and posted the team's second-lowest per-round average of the year at 79.87 strokes. Lopez de Haro Juste had a season-best ninth-place finish at the Windy City Invitational with a 156 over two rounds. She also shot a season-low 74 at the Charles Braun Intercollegiate.
Lowe impressed in her freshman campaign, tying for the most rounds played on the team with 28. The exercise science major averaged 82.18 strokes per round during the year and shot a season-low round of 74 at the Jan Weaver Invitational. Lowe concluded 2025-26 with a team-best 18
th-place finish at the OVC Championship in the spring.
