CHARLESTON, Ill.—Senior
Audrey Comastri and sophomore
Ellie Hall each raced to first-place finishes to lead University of Southern Indiana Women's Track & Field at the rain-soaked Eastern Illinois University Big Blue Classic Saturday.
Comastri was first in the 800 meters after finishing second in the 1,500 meters earlier in the day. She clocked a time of two minutes, 18.58 seconds in the 800 meters after finishing the 1,500 meters in 4:46.50.
The Screaming Eagles had three of the top five finishers and six in the top 10 in the 16-competitor 800-meter field. Junior

Addison Applegate were fourth and fifth, respectively in the event.
Hall won the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:43.38 and was one of three Eagles in the top five and five in the top 10 of the 31-competitor field. Freshman
Hadessah Austin joined Hall and Comastri in the top five with a fourth-place finish.
USI returns to action next Saturday when it competes at the Cougar Classic in Edwardsville, Illinois.
