ST. LOUIS, Mo./CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The University of Southern Indiana Women's Track and Field competed in the Washington University Distance Carnival at St. Louis University on Thursday and Friday. USI also competed in the Joey Haines Invitational in Cape Girardeau, Missouri hosted by Southeast Missouri State University on Friday and Saturday.
In her outdoor debut, freshman
Zoe Seward (Rochester, Indiana) highlighted the Wash U Distance carnival with her remarkable 5000-meter time of 16:49. The blazing time ranked ninth out of 209 total participants and puts her into seventh all-time in the USI record books.
At the Joey Haines Invitational, junior
Olivia Clark (Newburgh, Indiana) ran a 200-meter time of 27.05. Clark followed that up with a scorching time of 1:01.76 in the 400-meter dash. Clark now ranks fourth all-time in the 400-meter dash with that time.
Freshman
Ahmira Pickett (Owensboro, Kentucky) competed in the 800-meter dash in her outdoor collegiate debut finishing with a time of 2:34.39.
