EVANSVILLE, Ind. - University of Southern Indiana Men's Tennis has announced the signing of Adam Koon (McCordsville, Indiana) to the 2024-25 roster.

"We are extremely excited for Adam to join our program in the fall of 2024," says USI Tennis Head Coach, Chris Crawford. "Adam has a great work ethic and is a hard worker on and off the court. I look forward to him doing great things in the classroom and on the court at USI."

The Mt. Vernon High School (Fortville, Indiana) product comes to USI after a productive four-year campaign. Koon nabbed all-conference accolades in three straight seasons and was dubbed individual conference and county champion the last two seasons. He also secured an individual sectional championship, an individual regional championship, and an IHSAA individual state singles qualification in 2023. After his efforts to become the first state finalist for boy's tennis in MVHS history, Koon was awarded All-State first-team singles in 2023. The four-time team MVP led the Marauders to two county championships, a sectional championship in 2022, and a conference championship in 2023.

The Screaming Eagles went 7-14 overall and 3-6 in conference play last season and will begin the 2024 spring campaign on February 2 against Lipscomb University.
