NEW ALBANY, Ind.—The No. 25 University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team breezed past Indiana University Southeast, 9-0, Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
USI (11-5) racked up three wins in doubles play before sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets.
Juniors
Jack Joyce (Bournemouth, England) and
Joel Stern (Mjoelby, Sweden) as well as freshmen
Samuel Kiladejo (London, England),
Anthony Van Rompay (Schilde, Belgium),
Aaron Barris (Marietta, Georgia), and
Jack Lipchik (Kokomo, Indiana) each recorded two wins on the day.
The Screaming Eagles return to Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday at 2 p.m. when they travel to Rensselaer, Indiana, to take on Saint Joseph's College in a men's and women's doubleheader.
