COCOA BEACH, Fla. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team wrapped up its trip south with its second straight victory with a 5-4 win over Merrimack College on Friday afternoon. USI rises to 9-3 on the season, while Merrimack falls to 12-8.

Jennifer Mizikar also paired up to take an 8-4 triumph at number three doubles.
Despite dropping matches at number one, two, and three singles, the Eagles responded with victories at number four, five, and six. Brannon took her number four singles match, 6-4, 6-3, while Shipman rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 conquest at number five. Mizikar completed the Eagles' victory with 6-1, 7-5 win at number six singles.
USI returns home to open GLVC play with a conference match against Bellarmine University March 21 at the USI Tennis Courts.
