th-ranked University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team improved to a perfect 4-0 with a 6-3 victory over Lindenwood University Saturday night at the Evansville Tennis Center.

The Screaming Eagles opened competition with an 8-4 victory at number one doubles by freshman
Samuel Kiladejo (London, England) and senior
Jack Joyce (Bournemouth, England). Lindenwood responded with a victory at number three doubles, 8-6, but USI wrapped up doubles play with an 8-5 triumph at number two by freshmen duo
Roman Laga (Baiersbronn, Germany) and
Anthony Van Rompay (Schilde, Belgium).

With a 2-1 lead, the Eagles opened singles competition with a 6-0, 6-4 win by Joyce, who nabbed this week's GLVC Men's Tennis Player of the Week award. Joyce was joined by sophomore
Aaron Barris (Marietta, Georgia), Kiladejo, and Laga in singles victories.

The Eagles return to action on Wednesday when they take on Austin Peay State University at 2 p.m. in Clarksville, Tennessee.
