For the season, Joyce is a combined 17-3 overall, including 9-1 in singles play and 8-2 in doubles play. In dual action, Joyce is a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-1 in doubles competition.
Today's honor is the first GLVC Player of the Week award for Joyce and the first for a USI men's tennis player since Ben Boesing was recognized by the league on April 2, 2013.
USI (3-0) returns to action Friday at 5 p.m. when it visits NCAA Division I foe Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. The Eagles return home Saturday at 5:30 p.m. when they host Lindenwood University in a men's and women's doubleheader at the Evansville Tennis Center.
