EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team has been picked to finish fifth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division in a vote by the league's head coaches.
USI is coming off a 2013-14 campaign that saw it finish 8-14 overall and 2-4 in GLVC play.
The Screaming Eagles are off to a stronger start to 2014-15, having already posted a 4-0 record during the fall behind the strong play of sophomore
Brenna Wu (Evansville, Indiana). Wu has a combined singles and doubles record of 11-3, including 8-0 in singles competition.
USI resumes its 2014-15 season Sunday at 9:30 a.m. when it takes on Washington University (St. Louis) in Belleville, Illinois. The Eagles open GLVC play March 21 when they host Bellarmine University at the USI Tennis Courts.
