Box ScoreST. LOUIS—The No. 24 University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team saw its quest for a second consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference title come to a close as it suffered a 5-1 setback to No. 12 Drury University Saturday morning in the semifinals of the GLVC Championship Tournament.

Jack Joyce paired for an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles, but the Screaming Eagles suffered setbacks at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles as they went into singles competition facing a 2-1 deficit.
USI (17-7), the No. 2 seed in the GLVC East Division, took losses at No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 singles as Drury, the No. 1 seed in the West, closed out the victory.
The Eagles will face the No. 3 seed in the East Division, McKendree (19-5), Sunday at 9 a.m. in the third-place match, while Drury faces the No. 1 seed in the East, the University of Indianapolis, in the GLVC championship Sunday at noon. UIndy, ranked No. 38 nationally, defeated McKendree, 5-2, in the semifinals Saturday.
