Box ScoreINDIANAPOLIS—The No. 24 University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team suffered its first regular-season Great Lakes Valley Conference setback since 2011 Friday as the No. 31 University of Indianapolis handed the Screaming Eagles an 8-1 loss.
USI (11-6, 1-1 GLVC), which had won 13 straight regular-season GLVC matches, fell behind, 2-1, after taking losses at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. UIndy (9-2, 2-0 GLVC) won all six singles matches in straight sets to hand the Eagles their worst conference loss since 2009—USI lost to UIndy, 8-1 on April 11, 2009.
