EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's and women's tennis teams return to the Evansville Tennis Center Saturday for a 6 p.m. match against Division I opponent Austin Peay State University.
The men enter Saturday's competition at 6-0 after edging Western Kentucky University, 5-4, last Sunday at home. The women look to improve on their overall record of 2-4 after falling to Lindenwood University, 8-1, last week on the road.
Austin Peay's men's and women's teams, under the direction of former USI men's tennis coach Ross Brown (2002-2009), come to Evansville with an overall record of 3-1 and 0-5, respectively.
Brown, who was named the 2005 Great Lakes Valley Conference Coach of the Year, led the Screaming Eagles to the 2005 GLVC championship and a 13-7 record.
