RENSSELAER, Ind. -- With wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, the University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team downed Saint Joseph's College 7-2 Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
USI halts a three-match slide and evens its record to 8-8 and is 3-2 in the conference. The Pumas, meanwhile, fall to 8-7 and 0-4 in league play.
Senior

Morgan Coquerille and senior
Logan Ackerman each gave the Screaming Eagles the point with an 8-4 and 8-3 win respectively in doubles.
White was in a three-set thriller at No. 2 singles, and the Batesville, Indiana, native was able to win 7-5, 3-6, 6-2.
Coquerille (6-2, 7-6) and senior
Ellena Stumpf (6-1, 6-2) each won their match at the No. 3 and No. 4 slots in straight sets. Stumpf has now won five of her last six matches, which includes a victory over Division I Western Kentucky University.
Junior
Alyssa Hoover grabbed the win with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over SJC's Emily Claseys. Ackerman also notched a point in singles as well, with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
The Eagles have a midweek match with Lindsey Wilson College Wednesday at 2 p.m. on the USI Tennis Courts.
