EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Four University of Southern Indiana women's basketball players reached double figures in the scoring column Saturday night as the Screaming Eagles posted a 96-68 victory over Midwest Region foe Davis & Elkins College at the Physical Activities Center.

Jessica Parker combined for the first seven points in the run as the Eagles built a 7-2 advantage.
After a pair of free throws by junior guard
Autumn Miller extended USI's edge to seven points, Hackert and Parker combined for another seven points as the Eagles jumped in front, 16-2.
USI, which forced Davis & Elkins (2-2) into 32 turnovers, benefitted from the Senators' aggressive play as Davis & Elkins was whistled for 21 first-half fouls. The Eagles, who struggled at the free throw line in the opening period, made 19-of-30 at the charity stripe in the first 20 minutes as they extended their lead to 55-30 at the break.
Davis & Elkins, which shot 47.8 percent in the final 20 minutes, trimmed the Eagles' advantage to 21 on a few occasions in the second half.
Senior guard
Ariel Barnes, however, scored nine points and dished out two assists in the final six minutes of the contest as the Eagles' lead surged to as many as 32 points with three minutes to play.
Barnes, who finished with three assists and three steals, led all USI players with 18 points. Parker, who drained five three-pointers, added 16 points and three rebounds, while Hackert finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Junior forward/center
Mary O'Keefe chipped in 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while senior guard
Stephanie Carpenter dished out a game-high five assists.
Senior forward Jordan Lykes scored 18 of her game-high 22 points to lead the Senators.
USI returns to action Friday at 6 p.m. when it hosts Midwest Region opponent Salem International University at the PAC.
