EVANSVILLE, Ind. – With 64 combined wins between singles and doubles in the fall season, the 37
th-ranked University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team opens the spring campaign Saturday evening against Lindenwood University.
The Screaming Eagles and Lions begin their match at 5 p.m. at the Evansville Tennis Center as part of a men's and women's doubleheader.

Rodrigo Flores led USI with nine wins in the fall and classmate
Juan Quiroz added eight victories. In doubles play, Flores and
Robert Nieters combined for a 9-1 mark.
In the last action of the fall, Quiroz advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Midwest Regional, while Flores won three consolation matches.
Lindenwood was 2-1 in the fall with wins over the University of Illinois Springfield and Missouri Baptist University. Eddy Belhaouane, Thiago Mastroianni and Johannes Rabenhorst led the Lions with five victories each. Rabenhorst and Belhaouane were also leaders in doubles wins with a 3-2 record.
Following Saturday evening's duel, USI travels to Murray, Kentucky, to battle 11
th ranked Abilene Christian University February 7.
