EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team hopes to reverse its field and get on track when it returns to Strassweg Field for a pair of GLVC games this weekend. USI is slated to host the University of Indianapolis Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saint Joseph's College Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

The Screaming Eagles (1-7-0, 0-6-0 GLVC) are still looking for their first victory of the year in the GLVC. USI, which is down seven significant players due to injury, has been within one goal in three of the six losses and lost once in overtime.
Individually, junior midfielder
Jeffrey McClure (Indianapolis, Indiana) leads the Eagles in scoring with five points on two goals and one assist. McClure scored one of USI's two goals during the Eagles' road games at Rockhurst University and William Jewell College.
The Greyhounds of UIndy (6-2-0, 5-1-0 GLVC) travel to Strassweg Field in the midst of a six-match winning streak. UIndy has averaged 2.8 goals per match in its last four contests.
USI leads the all-time series with UIndy, 19-8-0, but the Greyhounds have won four of the last six meetings, including last season's 2-0 decision in Indianapolis.
The Pumas of Saint Joseph's (3-4-1, 3-2-1 GLVC), who travel to Kentucky Wesleyan College on Friday before coming to Strassweg Field, are 3-1-1 in their last five matches after starting the season 0-3-1. Saint Joseph's split its two matches at home last weekend, losing 1-0 to Quincy University and winning 2-1 in overtime versus the University of Illinois Springfield.
The Eagles lead the all-time series with the Pumas, 18-4-1, and have won last the two match-ups. USI won last year's meeting, 2-1, in Rensselaer, Indiana.
Following the short two-match homestand, the Eagles go on the road for five-straight matches.
