WVWC is coming off a 16-7-2 overall record and a run to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Bobcats were knocked out of the tournament by eventual national champion Northern Kentucky University.
USI trails the all-time series with WVWC, 0-2-0. The Bobcats won the last meeting with the Eagles in the 1998 USI Classic, 3-0, at Strassweg Field.
