SAINT LEO, Fla. – The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team won its second straight on the road with an 8-1 victory at Saint Leo University Monday in Saint Leo, Florida. USI, which is at the halfway point of the four-match spring road trip, raises its record to 8-1 overall, while Saint Leo falls to 3-10.
The Screaming Eagles dominated the match from start to finish, sweeping all three of the doubles matches and taking five of six in singles. Only two of the matches went a tie breaker with USI sophomore Diego Gimenez and freshman Juan Quiroz winning at both at number one and two singles.
The Eagles continue the spring trip against the NAIA's Northwood University (Fla.) in West Palm Beach, Florida.
