EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana junior right-hander Trevor Leah (Danville, Indiana) set down 25 of 29 batters to lead the 24th-ranked Screaming Eagles to a 12-0 win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis Friday night at the USI Baseball Field. USI raises its record to 13-7 overall and 3-2 in the GLVC, while UMSL falls to 3-15, 0-6 GLVC.

Leach (4-0), who is 15-0 over the last two seasons, posted USI's second complete game of the year and struck out a career-high eight batters. The senior right-hander, who set down 21 of 22 batters at one point, also scattered three hits and allowed only one walk.

USI junior first baseman Adam Enright (Hammond, Indiana) and senior rightfielder Caleb Ehmke (Waterloo, Indiana) combined to score the only run Screaming Eagles would need in the bottom of the fourth. Enright, who is batting a torrid .447 at home this season, singled and scored on the RBI-double by Ehmke.

The Eagles sealed the win with a seven-run seventh and a four-run eighth to extend the lead to 12-0. The seventh inning was highlighted by a three-run home run by junior catcher Dylan Mooney (St. Charles, Missouri) to make the score 7-0. The home run was Mooney's second of the year.

Mooney, senior shortstop Wandy Rosario (Boston, Massachusetts), and sophomore second baseman Brad Vance (Louisville, Kentucky) drove in three RBIs each to lead the way for USI in the win. Mooney and Rosario also had a pair of hits each for the Eagles.

The Eagles and the Triton continue the four-game series Saturday at 2 p.m. at the USI Baseball Field, before concluding the series in St. Louis, Missouri, for noon doubleheader on Sunday.
