EVANSVILLE, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team lost 7-2 to Grand Valley State University in Indianapolis Friday evening. USI falls to 0-3 this year, while Grand Valley advances to 2-0 on the season.
USI junior number two singles player Nathan Sexton (Santee, California) defeated GVSU's Renato Tamashiro in three sets (6-4, 4-6, 7-6) to post the Eagles' only singles victory. Sexton and senior Christoph Burger (Germany) also won at number one doubles, 8-6.
The next action for the Eagles will be Saturday against Michigan Tech University.
