FORT MEYERS, Fla.—The University of Southern Indiana men's fell to No. 13-ranked Florida Gulf Coast University, 9-0, Wednesday.
Junior Andrew McGuire (Greenwood, Indiana) played perhaps the most competitive singles match of the day, while the duo of junior Ryan McDaniel (Bargersville, Indiana) and sophomore Bryan Sulcer (Olney, Illinois) lost a hard fought double match. McGuire fell to Alberto Gutierrez, 6-3, 6-3, in number one singles, while McDaniel and Sulcer lost, 8-6, to the team of Danny Lee and Mikkel Muller in number two doubles.
The Screaming Eagles (1-6) play Northwood University (Fla.) today in West Palm Beach, Florida.
