The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team finished seventh Sunday at the NCAA II Great Lakes Spring Regional Tournament at the Rough River Dam State Park Golf Course in Falls of the Rough, Kentucky.
USI finished with a one-round total of 319, just 11 strokes off of first-place Saginaw Valley State University.
The tournament was scheduled as a two-round tournament, but Saturday's first round was cancelled due to weather.
Sophomore Jason Pinkstaff (Huntingburg, Indiana) finished in a tie for 12th with a team-best 77 (+5). Junior Craig Toler (Mowcaqua, Illinois) finished in a tie for 19th with a one-round 79.
USI will return to action Saturday, March 28, when it participates in the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana.
