The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team shot a one-round 301 Tuesday to finish 11th at the Tri-State Classic at the Pickwick Landing State Golf Course in Pickwick Dam, Tennessee.
Lipscomb University won the tournament, which was scheduled as a two-day event, with a score of 291. The University of North Alabama's James Porter was the tournament medalist after shooting a 69. Play on the first day was cancelled due to rain.
Leading the Eagles was sophomores Jason Pinkstaff (Huntingburg, Indiana) and Christian Farley (Henderson, Kentucky). Each shot a 74, one shot better than senior Nathan Wolfe's (Henderson, Kentucky) 75.
Junior Craig Toler (Mowcaqua, Illinois) and freshman Adam Bolerjack (Carmi, Illinois) rounded out USI's scoring with a 78 and 82, respectively.
The Eagles will compete in the Great Lakes Spring Regional Tournament Saturday, March 20 through Sunday, March 21 at the Rough River Dam State Park Golf Course in Falls of the Rough, Kentucky.
