The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team was 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and 2-1 for the road trip. The Screaming Eagles defeated Saint Joseph's College, 5-0, but lost a regional match-up with Wayne State University, 5-2. 

The Screaming Eagles take their record to 3-6 overall and 2-0 in the GLVC.

In the win over SJC, the Eagles clinched the victory by sweeping the doubles matches and winning at number five and six singles. In the loss to Wayne State, USI started in a hole, losing all three of the doubles matches. The Eagles were able to muster a victory at number one and three singles before surrendering the match 5-2.

USI returns to GLVC action Tuesday, April 1, in an exhibition match with Vincennes University at 2:30 p.m. (CT). The Eagles will open the home schedule Wednesday, April 2, when Western Kentucky University visits the USI Tennis Courts for a 2:30 p.m. match.
