The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team remained perfect this fall with a 9-0 victory over Saint Joseph's College Saturday afternoon in Rensselaer, Indiana. USI goes to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the GLVC,while SJC falls to 0-3, 0-1 GLVC.

Senior Emily Blinzinger (Oakland City, Indiana), USI's all-time winningest player, is closing in on another record, career doubles victories. Blinzinger combined with junior Nichole Freyberger (Jasper, Indiana) for two doubles victories this week and pull to with two of Emily Nall four-year total of 41.

In three-plus seasons, Blinzinger has 87 career victories, 48 in singles and 39 in doubles.

The next action for the Eagles will be Friday, September 13, at Quincy University. The first home match for USI will be Thursday, September 17, when it hosts Kentucky Wesleyan College for a 4 p.m. match at the USI Tennis Courts.
