Amaree Brown was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week. The award is the first of the year for Brown and the third of the year for the Screaming Eagles.

Ismail Habib earned a pair of OVC Newcomer of the Week awards in November and December.
Brown earned the Newcomer of the Week award after leading the Screaming Eagles to victories over Western Illinois (77-70) and Eastern Illinois (70-68), averaging 20.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game. He started the week with a team-high 18 points in the victory over WIU before finishing the week with a team-high and season-high 22 points in the win over EIU.
Brown and Screaming Eagles start the final week of the regular season Tuesday evening with a visit to Morehead State in Morehead, Kentucky. The 2025-26 season is set to come to a close February 28 with a visit to Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas.
