EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Softball had 11 student-athletes recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) for their academic success in 2024-25.
The Easton/NFCA Academic All-America Scholar-Athletes from Southern Indiana included
Angelia Davis,
Caitlyn Boteler,
Caroline Stapleton,
Grace Huffman,
Jordan Mackey,
Julianna Hibbs,
Kennedy Nalley,
Kylie Witthaus,
Maddison Depencier,
Shelby Stivers, and
Whitley Hunter.
The student-athletes were among many collegiate student-athletes honored in all divisions. Member head coaches submit team GPAs and scholar-athletes. The award goes to those who earned at least a 3.5 grade point average.
USI Softball recorded a 3.65 team GPA during the 2024-25 academic year, which ranked top 25 in NCAA Division I.
Southern Indiana ended the 2025 season with a 17-25 overall record with a 13-11 mark in OVC play to finish fourth for the second straight season. USI made a third consecutive appearance in the OVC tournament in its third year at the NCAA Division I level.
