Louisville, Ky.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Swimming and Diving had a hard-fought battle against Butler University, falling just short at 108-96, and lost to Bellarmine University 129-73 in Louisville, Kentucky, Saturday afternoon.

The Screaming Eagles came out on top in six events against Big East foe Butler and won one event against Bellarmine.

Sophomore
Emma Gabhart shinned on the day, earning two individual second-place performances. First, the sophomore finished second in the 400 Individual Medley with a 4:32.56 performance. Then, she recorded another second-place finish, recording a 2:23.00 time in the 200 breaststroke.

Gabhart was also a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished second. The team also consisted of sophomore
Elizabeth Ketcham, senior
Sarah-Catherine Dawson, and sophomore
Simone Green.

Green was also a member of the 200 freestyle relay that nabbed a second-place finish with a 1:39.75 time. Individually, she finished third in the 50 freestyle with a personal best 25.13 time.

Junior
Caiya Cooper earned a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a 5:19.76 performance. Cooper recorded a 1:59.60 in the 200-yard freestyle, grabbing fourth.

The Eagles are in the pool again on November 20 at the House of Champions, hosted by Indiana University Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.
