USI Women’s Soccer to host Summer Soccer Camp Series

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Registration for the SI Eagles Summer Soccer Camp Series, hosted by University of Southern Indiana Women's Soccer, is now open. The summer camp series is for players that want to take their skills to the next level.
 
The summer camp series begins with the Coed Youth Soccer Camp June 26-29 for boys and girls ages 5-12. Players attending can come for a half day (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) or a full day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). This coed camp is for all levels of players. The camp is designed for youth soccer players trying to develop and improve the technical skills necessary to compete at the recreational, club, or junior high school level. The camp will be well-staffed and prepared to make the camp experience enjoyable and competitive for all players involved. Check-in for campers is on June 26 at 8:45 a.m., starting in the Physical Activity Center in the USI Screaming Eagles Complex. The cost is $120 for a half day and $160 for a full day, which includes a T-shirt.
 
Youth campers should bring cleats, indoor/running shoes, water, shin guards, sunblock, a soccer ball, and small snacks that can go outside. Full-day campers are also asked to bring a lunch with an extra drink and a change of shirt in case of rain.
 
USI Women's Soccer will host the College ID Camp Series July 8-9 and July 29-30 for players that want to play college soccer. The camps run for ages 13 and up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Strassweg Field (weather permitting) and the Broadway Avenue Practice Facilities. The camps are $130 for one day or $200 for both days, which includes a T-shirt. The entire USI coaching staff will be present and very hands-on during the entire camp. The camps are open to all high school-age female soccer players interested in playing at the next level. Check-in will be at the Physical Activities Center in the USI Screaming Eagles Complex.
 
Players will need to bring water, a soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, and indoor/running shoes.
