EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Soccer and Head Coach
Eric Schoenstein announced the addition of
Carly Dean to the coaching staff as assistant coach.
Dean, who will assist with goalkeeper training and other operational aspects of the program, joins the USI Women's Soccer program after serving as the acting head coach at St. Bonaventure University earlier this year, leading all aspects of the program, and serving as an assistant coach during the 2025 season. Dean worked with the goalkeepers and handled many administrative responsibilities of the program.
Before her stint at St. Bonaventure, Dean was an assistant coach at Wittenberg University in the spring of 2025. Dean also had coaching experience with Lexington Sporting Club (Kentucky) from 2022 to 2025, as well as additional experience in high school and camp settings.
As a player, Dean began her collegiate career at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette before playing her final three seasons at Eastern Kentucky University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2023 and a master's degree in 2024.
Dean, a Sidney, Ohio native, competed at the prep level at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
