EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Due to uncertain weather forecasts and expected rain in the Evansville, Indiana area Wednesday, the University of Southern Indiana Softball game against Austin Peay State University has been postponed.
 
The game has been rescheduled for May 2 at 3 p.m. from USI Softball Field. Admission to all 2023 USI Softball home spring games is free, courtesy of The Women's Hospital Deaconess.
 
Up next on the schedule for the Screaming Eagles will be a trip to Southeast Missouri State University this Saturday and Sunday for an Ohio Valley Conference battle. The three-game series begins with a single game Saturday at 2 p.m. The weekend set will conclude with a doubleheader Sunday, starting at 12 p.m. Both teams are tied at 4-1 in conference play.
