EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Women's Basketball is busting out the pink uniforms Thursday evening when the Screaming Eagles host Maryville University in their annual Play4Kay game at Screaming Eagles Arena. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m. and fans are encouraged to join USI's efforts in raising breast cancer awareness by wearing pink and making Screaming Eagles Arena a SEA of Pink.
Thursday's game is the first of a two-game homestand that also has the Eagles scheduled to host Missouri University of Science & Technology Saturday at 1 p.m.
USI enters this week's competition with an 18-4 overall record and a 12-2 mark in GLVC play.

USI Women's Basketball Notes
• DeHart two games shy of record. Fifth-year senior guard
Emma DeHart is now tied for second all-time at USI in games played. When she steps on the court against Maryville Thursday, she'll tie USI Hall of Fame guard Adrienne Seitz for the most games ever played by a USI Women's Basketball player with her 120th game.
• Play4Kay. The Eagles will be wearing their pink uniforms Thursday when they host Maryville for their annual Play4Kay game. The Play4Kay game, which is named after the late Hall of Fame coach Kay Yow (North Carolina State), who passed away in 2009 following a 22-year battle with cancer, is the WBCA's breast cancer awareness initiative.
• USI goes 1-1 last week. USI Women's Basketball went 1-1 on the road last week, falling to then No. 9/25 Drury, 77-58, before cruising past Southwest Baptist, 70-48. Junior forward
Hannah Haithcock averaged 14.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game to lead USI, while sophomore forward
Meredith Raley added 10.5 points and a team-best 1.5 blocks per contest.
Fifth-year senior guard
Emma DeHart contributed 9.5 points and a team-high tying 2.5 steals per game, while freshman guard
Vanessa Shafford matched DeHart with 2.5 steals per outing. Junior guard
Addy Blackwell led USI with 2.5 assists per game.
• Season Leaders. Haithcock averages a team-leading 12.8 points per game, while Raley is contributing 11.7 points to go along with a team-high 5.3 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per outing. DeHart is chipping in 10.3 points along with a team-high 2.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game, while Blackwell is averaging 9.9 points, 2.0 assists and 1.6 steals per appearance.
• GLVC PRS Standings. The Eagles are currently No. 3 in the latest GLVC Point Rating System standings, which determine the seeding in the GLVC Tournament. Currently, Missouri-St. Louis (4.63) and Drury (4.44) rank ahead of USI (4.36), while Truman State (3.94) and Illinois Springfield (3.53) round out the top five teams.
• GLVC Tournament. Due to COVID-related schedule changes and cancellations, league presidents voted to allow all 15 teams into the GLVC Tournament, with seeds No. 2-8 hosting seeds No. 9-15 in first-round games February 28. The winners of those first-round games will join the No. 1 seed, which receives a first-round bye, in the GLVC quarterfinals, which are March 3-6 at the Vadalabene Center in Edwardsville, Illinois.
• Midwest Region rankings on the horizon. The first set of NCAA II Midwest Region rankings are due to be released on NCAA.com Wednesday.
• Eagles fall out of both polls, still receiving votes. USI dropped out of both the WBCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll as well as the D2SIDA Top 25 Media Poll after going 1-1 last week. The Eagles, who are receiving votes for both polls, were ranked No. 17 in the media poll and No. 25 in the coaches' poll.
• Haithcock nets GLVC weekly honor. After matching a career-high 22 points in back-to-back games and averaging 18.7 points on the week, Haithcock was named GLVC Player of the Week for her efforts in USI's wins over Lindenwood, Rockhurst and William Jewell. She is the first USI Women's Basketball player to net GLVC Player of the Week honors since Kaydie Grooms collected the award February 19, 2018.
• Double-double. Blackwell became the third USI Women's Basketball player this season to notch a double-double when she scored 12 points and pulled down a career-high 10 rebounds in USI's win over Rockhurst. She joined Haithcock, who has two double-doubles, and senior forward
Ashlynn Brown on USI's list.
• Double-figures. USI has had 10 different players reach double-figures in the scoring column this season, including nine players that have scored 10-or-more points in multiple games.
• 20-point outings. USI has had four different players reach the 20-point plateau this season. DeHart and Haithcock have each reached the 20-point plateau twice this season, while Blackwell and fifth-year senior guard
Ashley Hunter also scored 20-or-more points this season.
• Stein snares 400th win. USI Head Coach
Rick Stein earned his 400th career victory with the Eagles 88-80 victory over Illinois Springfield. He's been on the sidelines for 565 of USI's 713 all-time wins during his 31 seasons on the bench, 23 of which have been leading the program after eight seasons as an assistant.
• Gatling 500. USI Assistant Coach
Randa Gatling also hit a milestone Thursday. Gatling, who has been on the bench for all of Stein's 400 wins, picked up her 500th career win including her 100 wins as a player at USI.
• About Maryville. Junior guard Antoinette Mussorici averages 16.5 points and 2.6 assists per game to lead the Saints, who are 11-11 overall and 7-9 in GLVC play following a 73-37 win over Quincy Monday evening. Junior forward Taylor Kirby adds 10.0 points and a team-leading 5.2 rebounds per game for Maryville, which has won two straight games and four of its last six.
• About Missouri S&T. Senior guard Laura Rodriguez averages 14.4 points to lead the Miners, who are 9-13 overall and 6-10 in GLVC play following a 92-79 road win over Lindenwood Monday evening. Senior center Alex Kerr is chipping in 13.2 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds for Missouri S&T, which has won two of its last three games following a three-game skid.
• Record book watch. The Eagles have three players making moves inside the USI Women's Basketball Record Books:

• Magic Mark: 75 points. The Eagles are 437-78 (.849) all-time when scoring at least 75 points. USI is 310-29 (.915) since 1996-97 when reaching the 75-point plateau.
