USI has former Screaming Eagles playing basketball all over the world. Below are the highlighted players from last week:
#1. Experienced
Jamar Smith (6'3''-G-1987, graduated '2010, plays pro in Turkey) could not help Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul (2-3) in their last game. Despite his good performance Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul was crushed92-60 on the road by the leading Bilbao. Smith was the top scorer with 13 points in a mere 19 minutes. His team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Smith has relatively good stats this year 14.8ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.3apg in four games he played so far.
#2. Emmanuel Little (6'6''-F-1999, played in 2017-21, plays in Bosnia) led Siroki to a victory against the sixth-ranked Leotar (3-3) 79-66 in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I last Saturday. Little scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. HKK Siroki Brijeg (6-0) is placed second in the Division I. So far his team won all six games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Little's first year with the team. This season he averages 9.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.5spg.
