At the plate, USI sophomore rightfielder
Kyle Kempf (Evansville, Indiana) lead the Eagles with a .368 batting average. Kempf, the USI lead-off hitter, also lead the squad with 15 runs scored and is tied for second with 10 RBIs.
USI senior outfielder/designated hitter
Brent Weinzapfel (Evansville, Indiana) is tops on the squad with 11 RBIs this season.
The Bearcats of McKendree, who are USI's first opponent from the GLVC East Division in 2014, are 5-10 overall and 1-7 in
the GLVC. McKendree is in the midst of a five-game losing streak.
