EVANSVILLE, Ind. – TheUniversity of Southern Indiana baseball team remained on top of the NCAA Division II Midwest Region poll for a second straight week. Following the Screaming Eagles was Grand Valley State University, which is second in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and Northern Kentucky University, which leads the GLVC East Division.
Wayne State University, which leads the GLIAC standings, is fourth in the region to round out the top half of the poll. Ashland University, the University of Indianapolis, Saint Joseph's College, and Rockhurst University round out the bottom half of the poll.
USI concludes the GLVC schedule this weekend when it travels to Quincy University for a four-game series. The first pitch for Saturday and Sunday's doubleheaders is noon each day.
