COMPLETE COLLEGIATE BASEBALL NEWSPAPER TOP 30 POLL
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana baseball team rose to 23rd nationally in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper/Division II Top 30 poll. The Screaming Eagles, who took two of three from Armstrong State University to start the 2010 campaign last weekend, was 29th in the first regular season poll last week.
Joining USI from the GLVC was the University of Indianapolis (12th) and Northern Kentucky University (22nd). The GLVC's Saint Joseph's College also received votes for the poll.
The Eagles resume action Friday and Saturday when they travel to Russellville, Arkansas, at Arkansas Tech University. USI is scheduled to play a single-game with Arkansas Tech at 3 p.m. Friday and a doubleheader with Missouri Western State University at noon Saturday.
