EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Five Screaming Eagles reached double figures in the scoring column Saturday afternoon as the University of Southern Indiana women's basketball team cruised to a dominating 91-41 victory over Salem International University at the Physical Activities Center.
USI (5-4) trailed 2-0 early in the contest, but a 24-0 run that lasted nearly 12 minutes was enough to ensure the Eagles their fifth win of the year. The Eagles shot 45.5 percent from the field in the first half and forced the Fighting Tigers into 16 first-half turnovers—three more than the total shots (13) that Salem International took in the first 20 minutes—as they built a 41-13 halftime advantage.
The Eagles, who improved to 4-1 at the PAC this season, shot 52.2 percent for the game and outrebounded the Tigers 42-16. USI's bench produced 61 of its 91 points, with freshman forward/center
Nicole Hazemi pacing all scorers with a season-high 14.

The Eagles, who had 23 assists, 21 steals, and just 14 turnovers in the contest, scored 41 points off Salem International's 32 turnovers. Senior guard
