EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana-Drury University women's basketball game on February 7 was chosen by the Women's Division II Bulletin as its Game of the Month.

USI edged the Panthers, 90-86, in a double-overtime thriller, giving Head Coach Rick Stein his 100th career victory at the Physical Activities Center.

The Screaming Eagles stopped Drury from scoring the go-ahead baskets in the final 10 seconds of regulation and the first overtime, then got eight of senior forward/center Brittany Neuman's (Huntingburg, Indiana) game-high 25 points in the second overtime to pull out the four-point victory.

Senior forward/center Ninette Evans (Memphis, Tennessee) gave the Eagles an 88-86 lead with 30 seconds to play in the last overtime period then had a blocked shot and a rebound to preserve the victory.

In addition to the Game of the Month, USI also was recognized by the Women's Division II Bulletin for its "Pack the PAC in Pink" game.

To coincide with its efforts at the "Pack the PAC in Pink" game, USI is holding a "Celebrity Server" fundraiser Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Westside Golden Corral on Peal Drive.

USI players and coaches will be on hand to wait tables in an effort to raise money for local residents who are suffering from breast cancer.

The Eagles passed out pink tickets for the event at their "Pack the PAC in Pink" game. Patrons who attend Tuesday night are encouraged to bring those tickets if they have them. They also can let the Golden Corral staff know at the door that they are there for the fundraiser.
