The victory marked the fifth time this year that the Screaming Eagles have reached the century mark and raised the 2008-09 home record to 15-1.

The seven three-point field goals was just one away from tying the USI single-game record of eight.

USI junior guard Marvin Gray (Freeport, Bahamas) tied Pimble on the boards with a season-best six rebounds, while distributing a team-high seven assists.

Also reaching double-figures in the scoring column for the Eagles was junior forward/center Jeron Lewis (Ft. Wayne, Indiana) and junior forward Brandon Russ (Cincinnati, Ohio) with 14 points and 13 points, respectively.

The Eagles, as a team, shot a blistering 64.3 percent from the field (36-56) and 68.8 percent (11-16) from beyond the arc. USI also improved at the free throw line, hitting 81 percent of its attempts (17-21).
