Biography
2009-10: Basketball Times NCAA Division II Player of the Year...led the team and the GLVC with 21.6 points per game...finished his career with a USI record 20.2 points per contest...set the PAC record for scoring with 40 points against the University of Illinois-Springfield...set the USI single game (10) and season record (108) for three-point field goals made...named All-American by Basketball Times, Division II Bulletin, NABC, and Daktronics...was named first team All-Region and the Midwest Region Player of the Year...also named the GLVC Player of the Year.
2008-09: Named honorable mention All-American by the Division II Bulletin...also named first team All-GLVC...earned GLVC Player of the Week honors the final two weeks of the season...led the Screaming Eagles in scoring with 18.5 points and 3.9 three-point field goals per game...scored a season best 29 points against Missouri University of Science & Technology and Drury University...reached double-digits in scoring 17 times in 18 games and surpassed the 20-point plateau five times...sank a season-high seven three-point field goals against Drury and Lane College and dropped in at least five long range shots eight times.
TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from the University of Illinois...played in 53 games between 2005-06 and 2006-07, averaging 8.0 points and 1.6 rebounds per game...redshirted in 2007-08...was a Big Ten All-Freshman selection during his first season with the Illini...averaged 8.0 points and 19.2 minutes a game as a freshman...averaged 8.1 points per game as a sophomore and was second on the team with 38 three-point field goals...recorded a career-high 23 points versus the University of Arkansas-Little Rock as a freshman...also scored in double-figures 20 times in his two seasons with the Illini.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters at Richwood High School (Peoria, Illinois)...led the Mid-State 6 Conference as a senior with 21.3 points per game...was named the Peoria Journal Star Class AA Player of the Year and first team All-State by the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette and the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association...also was named second team All-State by the Associated Press and third team by the Chicago Sun-Times...averaged 19.6 points per game as a junior....named to the Class AA All-Star Team by Peoria Journal Star, first team All-State by News-Gazette, and third team All-State by the IBCA...finished his career at RHS with 1,525 points.
