Stein's 100th win at PAC would give Eagles third straight

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana women's basketball Head Coach Rick Stein can pick up his 100th victory at the Physical Activities Center when his Screaming Eagles host Rockhurst University Saturday at 1 p.m.

A win over the visiting Hawks would give the Eagles their third straight victory and a lot of momentum as they head into their first GLVC West Division road trip next week.

USI (10-7, 3-5 GLVC) is coming off a dominating 92-73 victory over the University of Missouri-St. Louis Thursday night. Sophomore guard Ellen Young (Salem, Illinois) had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead six USI players in double figures.

The Eagles are maintaining a one-game lead in the GLVC West Division and a two-game lead in the loss column over the visiting Hawks, who are in fifth place in the division.

Rockhurst (8-11, 2-7 GLVC) is looking to end a four-game slide after falling to Kentucky Wesleyan College, 72-56, Thursday in Owensboro, Kentucky. Senior guard/forward Amy Hake led the Hawks with 17 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
