USI men's soccer selects assistant coach

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana Department of Athletics announced the hiring of men's soccer Assistant Coach Stuart Riddle. Riddle will assist USI Head Coach Dan Hogan in all aspects of the program.

Riddle moves across the city from the University of Evansville where he has worked since the spring of 2005. He assisted in coaching and developing players while working for the Aces.

During his tenure at Evansville, Riddle was the head coach of the Kalamazoo Kingdom Soccer Club in Kalamzaoo, Michigan, during the summer of 2006. His duties included the recruiting of the playing squad as well as coaching and development of players in a full-time environment.

He began his association with club soccer with the Edge Soccer Club in Holland, Michigan, as the promotions and marketing director.

Riddle earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Coastal Carolina University in 2003 and is working toward a master's degree in public service administration from Evansville.

Professionally, Riddle played in five different countries over a six year period. He also was the New Zealand Olympic Games Soccer Representative in 1996.
