The match was called with 10:12 to play by the officials due to on-field violence and fan interference. The Pumas were award two cards in the altercations, resulting in the ejection of Marcus Murphy, who received his second yellow card, and Brad Habel, who received a red card.

The Eagles concluded the road trip by traveling to the University of Indianapolis Sunday at 11 a.m. (CDT). USI returns to the friendly surroundings of Strassweg Field September 29 to host Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
