INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team was shutout by the University of Indianapolis in a GLVC match Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis, Indiana. USI falls to 1-7-1 overall and 0-5-1 GLVC, while UIndy goes to 9-3-0, 5-3-0 GLVC.
The Greyhounds scored the margin of victory in the first half with a pair of goals. The first goal came 22:39 and the second at 39:04. UIndy had nine shots on goal during the match, while USI was able to put pressure on the Greyhound goalkeeper three times.
The Eagles resume action Friday when they host the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at Strassweg Field. The match with SIUE is the first of a three-match homestand for USI.
