PICKWICK DAM, Tenn.—The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team recorded a solid seventh-place finish at the Grover Page Classic at Pickwick State Park.
USI started the three-day tournament with a 299 on Sunday before shooting a 289 in Monday's second round. The Screaming Eagles closed the tournament Tuesday with a 301 to finish with a three-round 889.
Freshman
Drew Dunkerly (Linton, Indiana) and sophomore
Blake Hilliard (Olney, Illinois) led the Eagles. Each finished four-over-par for the tournament with a three-round 220 and in a tie for 15th.
Hilliard opened the tournament with a two-over 74, before shooting and even-par 72 in the second round on Monday. Dunkerly shot a 75 to open the tournament before shooting a 72 and 73 in the second and third round, respectively.
Sophomore
Nick Frazer (Evansville, Indiana) had USI's low round of the tournament, shooting a two-under 70 in Monday's second round. He finished with tournament with a 224 and in a tie for 25th.
USI returns to action March 13-14 when it competes at the University of North Alabama Classic at the RJC Golf Club in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
