The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team placed third in the Northern Kentucky Fall Invitational with a two-round 629 (320-309). Sophomore
Christian Farley (Henderson, Kentucky) led the Eagles with a 152 (74-78), tying for sixth.
Posting a team 320 in the first round, the Eagles bounced back during the second day with a 309 and had four of five players shooting in the 70s. Senior
Ryan Overby (Providence, Kentucky) was USI's top player in the second round, posting a 74. Overby was followed by Farley and senior
Nathan Wolfe (Henderson, Kentucky) tying with a 78 and junior
Craig Toller (Mowcaqua, IL) shooting a 79.
The next tournament for the Eagles will be in Coldwater, Michigan, when they travel to the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Fall Tournament. The tournament is the first of three regional tournaments (one in the fall and two in the spring).
