The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team put together its best round of the spring, 295, but it was not enough as it finished 16th in the third of three NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional Qualifying Tournaments. Senior Tim Garner (Martinsville, Indiana) bounced back from an 83 in first round to shot a team tournament-best 72 on the second day.
Freshman Michael Bradshaw (Boonville, Indiana) led the team with a 48th place finish, shooting a 152 (79-73).
