USI men’s golf places fifth in KWC Invitational

The University of Southern Indiana men's golf team took fifth in the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational at Lafayette Golf Course in Falls of the Rough, Kentucky. The Eagles shot a team 322.

USI was led by senior Tim Garner (Martinsville, Indiana) and junior Zach Smith (Evansville, Indiana), each shooting an 80. They were followed by a pair of 81s by senior Andy Skodinski (New Ross, Indiana) and junior Ryan Overby (Providence, Kentucky). Junior Nathan Wolfe (Henderson, Kentucky) rounded out the scoring for USI with an 82.

The next action for the Eagles will be in the Northern Kentucky Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, September 16-17, at the Lassing Pointe Golf Course in Union, Kentucky. The Eagles will host the USI Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, September 30- October 1, at Helfrich Golf Course in Evansville, Indiana.
