Beau Wills joined Screaming Eagles as an Assistant Coach in August 2025. Beasley is responsible for pitching staff development.
Wills comes to USI from Southeastern Community College (Iowa), where he led the pitching staff to improvements in WHIP, walk rate, and strikeouts. He also helped direct Southeastern to a conference title for the first time in seven years, improved the team record by seven wins, finished the year with a number three national ranking, became the first team in school history to win 50 games, and made an appearance in the NJCAA Division II World Series.
The Coal City, Illinois native also was the pitching coach at Rockingham Community College (NC) and worked in the private sector as a baseball instructor at Tunnel Vision Academy (IL) and Line Drive Academy (IA) before his time at Southeastern.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Wills played at Concordia University-Wisconsin (2018-23), where he had 71 strikeouts in 72.0 innings while setting the program record with 14 saves. He also set the Concordia records for appearances, games finished, and combined shutouts.
Wills graduated from Concordia with a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in management.
