Blake Woodard '12 M'14 enters his first year as an assistant coach after graduating from USI with bachelor's degrees in business management and business administration and master's degree in business administration. He has spent four years assisting Head Coach Rodney Watson, two as a student assistant and two as a graduate assistant.
A graduate of Carbondale Community High School, Woodard earned three varsity letters in tennis before becoming an assistant coach for his alma mater’s boys and girls’ tennis programs during his two years at John A. Logan College.
Woodard, who was the assistant basketball coach at Brehm Prep High School in 2009, has worked with several grade school basketball programs throughout his high school and college career.
A native of Carbondale, Illinois, Woodard is working on his master's degree in business.
